Dr. Dianne Stober – Former research Advisory Panel Member

Dianne StoberDr. Stober is a leader in developing theoretical and empirical foundations for coaching practice. Along with her colleague, Anthony Grant, she co-edited The Evidence-Based Coaching Handbook (Wiley, 2006). An academic and a practitioner, she has presented and published her work in a wide variety of scholarly and professional venues such as the American Psychological Association, the International Coach Federation, the Professional Coach and Mentor Association, the Australian Evidence-Based Coaching Conference, the International Journal of Evidence-Based Coaching and Mentoring, and the International Journal of Coaching in Organizations. Dianne also is on the faculty of Fielding Graduate University in the Organizational Management and Development program and teaches in Fielding’s Evidence-Based Coaching Certificate program.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Dianne maintains an active coaching practice working with individuals and organizations. She is a dynamic coach skilled in communication, facilitation, and promoting growth in her clients. Her clients range from innovators in high-tech to university faculty to leaders in nonprofit organizations

Dianne’s professional and educational background is as a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Georgia State University, completed her internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. In addition to her teaching at UTD and Fielding, Dianne has taught at Georgia State University in the Psychology Department. Dianne has received coach training from Coach U and the Institute of Life Coach Training.
