The Foundation of Coaching is dedicated to the development of coaching as a profession, and as a way of making a positive difference in the world through the lives of individuals.

This is your resource for information about coaching. Whether you're a practitioner, or a client, whether you are looking for a school or a coach, if you seek the latest news or research in the coaching field, or if you're simply curious about coaching, welcome.

We are coaches, clients, researchers, and educators working together for the advancement of coaching as a profession.

We are collaborative and inclusive. We seek to showcase the work of others. We intend to be the ultimate resource, a connection point for all things coaching worldwide.

On July 13 and 14, international members from The Foundation of Coaching Research Advisory Panel came to New York City for their second annual meeting. The four members, pictured here, (standing left to right, James Hunt, Dianne Stober, Alison Carter, Michael Cavanagh) met with Director of Research, Dr. Mary Wayne Bush (seated left) to discuss The Foundation's research strategy, make recommendations about research policies and grant offerings, and identify areas of The Foundation's Coaching Research Agenda to highlight for 2008. The Research Advisors were especially pleased to meet with The Foundation's first grant award winner, Esra Ozkan (seated right), who is using The Foundation's support to complete a research study on Coaching as an Emerging Profession.
