Research Mentor Program

The Foundation of Coaching wants to promote coaching-related research, and help those who are interested in doing it.

Our Research Mentor Program provides experienced volunteers to help with all areas of the research process, including:

  • Identifying an area of research that would be a contribution to the field or to a coaching practice
  • Framing a research question
  • Identifying an appropriate research methodology
  • Understanding and implementing a process for selecting research subjects
  • Ensuring proper IRB
  • Gathering and analyzing data for the study
  • Developing conclusions and results from the study
  • Identifying ways to use your research and disseminate it

Whether you are new to research or are an experienced professional, our Research Mentors will help you develop your ideas and move forward to the next step.

The Foundation of Coaching offers up to two hours of Research Mentor time absolutely free. After that, you can continue your project on your own, using the advice and information from the Mentor, or contract with the Mentor to continue supporting you and your project.

It's up to you!
